When we talk about investing in a ski property abroad, Bansko is with no doubt the best place in Bulgaria to do so. The famous town of Bansko is the pearl of the Bulgarian winter tourism. It offers excellent conditions for winter sports, combined with the hot thermal springs in the villages near by – such as Banja and Dobrinitsche. There, one can relax after the busy skiing day in the hot thermal springs.
The property prices of the apartments in Bansko vary, according to the proximity to the Condola Lift and the view from the rooms. Borovetz is located on the northern slopes of the beautiful Rila Mountains at 1,350 meters above sea level, surrounded by pine forests at the skirts of the highest peak on the Balkan Peninsula, Musala. It is an Alpine type of resort, offering wonderful opportunities for many winter sports - Alpine skiing, cross-country, ski jumping and biathlon- and the biathlon track is one of the best in the world.
Borovets ski tracks have length of over 45 km of varying degrees of difficulty. Borovets ski school is well known and has more than 200 ski instructors speaking different languages.There are a lot of facilities for the tourists, but most impressive is the lift to the Yastrebets peak of capacity 1200 people per hour. The chassis and biathlon tracks are located 2km from the center of Borovets.
The property market in Borovetz is much more limited and has less to offer than those of Bansko and Pamporovo.
The property market in the modern ski resort of Pamporovo ,offers for sale apartments in closed complexes, in proximity to the main ski tracks , as well as, houses and townhouses in 5-7 kms distance from the resort .
Pamporovo is located in the fairy Rhodope mountain, at the skirts of the famous peak Snejanka /The Snow White/. It has a well maintained ski tracks for all categories of skiers, including tracks for giant slalom and quality lifts system. The ski school meets all the international standards, having over 100 highly qualified and experienced ski teachers. There are four tracks for children at the slopes of Snow White Peak - 'Snejanka-South', 'The station, 'Raspberry' and 'Panorama'. Over 14 ski centers offer ski equipment, snowboards and sleds for rent.
Pamporovo is also famous, as a place, where the ancient mythical singer Orpheus was born, according to the legends and myths.
